The bat blocks modules are intended for installation in facades for new buildings and renovations.
The different stones can be built up and combined with a mortar joint, whereby the FE130-G foundation stone always acts as a base and can be extended upwards as often as desired with the FE130-A stack stone. The top end is then the FE130-S keystone.
You can also combine just the FE130-G foundation stone and the FE130-S keystone or install the FE130-P individually as a variant closed at the top. The overall structure can also be found in the picture on the left. The animals come in through the lower stone and can then ascend in the continuous, rear area.
The stones are open at the back as standard and self-cleaning thanks to the sloping dung and therefore do not have to be serviced. In order to offer a dwelling for as wide a range of species as possible and to create various small climates, the stones are each divided into a front and a rear chamber, each of which is self-cleaning.
Since the building blocks are open to the rear, there is the possibility of checking from behind or creating a transition to other bat roosts inside the building. For installation in a brick wall with a layer of air or insulation at the rear, the building blocks can be supplied with a closed rear wall, see the FE145 series.
The blocks can be painted with conventional, breathable facade paint.
