Description

House martin nests are supplied assembled in pairs, as house martins are sociable birds.

House martin nests are to be attached to outer walls under the eaves of buildings, as rainproof as possible. The nest hollows can be individually removed for cleaning.

Dung boards to prevent soiling are available. These should only be attached at least 40 cm below the nests after the eggs have been laid, as house martins are instinctively reluctant to move into nests that have potential "ladders" for enemies to reach the nest. The manure boards should be removed immediately after the breeding season.

Single pairs or small colonies can be “rerouted” by several meters from problematic situations with a risk of contamination by offering artificial nests.

The excursions can be mixed on the left, in the middle or on the right.
